
- 1 lb Ricotta
- 1 3/4 – 2 cups flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 tbs. Vanilla Extract
- 4 tbs. Baking Powder
- 2 tbs. Liquor such as orange curacao
- confectioners sugar
- pinch salt
- oil for frying
Combine all ingredients (except sugar), adding eggs one at a time. Let stand for about 10 minutes. Heat enough oil to deep fry in a large saucepan.
Drop one tsp. of batter at a time into hot oil & fry until golden brown. Let cool, top with confectioners sugar, and enjoy!
